Successful Convening of the 2025 Member Conference, Technical Exchange, and Market Matchmaking Event of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee 

From June 18th to 20th, 2025, our company was invited to participate in the “2025 Member Conference, Technical Exchange, and Market Matchmaking Event of the Plate and Sheet Material Committee of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association,” successfully held at the Yiyuan People’s Hall in Yiyuan County, Shandong Province. Mr. Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association; Mr. Zhang Tao, Secretary of the Yiyuan County Party Committee; Mr. Zheng Feng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yiyuan County Party Committee, Deputy County Mayor, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Yiyuan Economic Development Zone; Ms. Liu Shu, Deputy Supervisor of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association; Mr. Pan Qinggong, Executive Chairman of the Shandong Plastics Association, along with other leaders, experts, scholars, and representatives from the Plate and Sheet Material Committee’s vice-chairman units, director units, and member units, totaling over 300 people, attended the conference.

In his address, Chairman Wang Zhanjie fully affirmed the achievements of the Plate and Sheet Material Committee and introduced the development status and economic indicators of the national plastics industry and the plastic plate and sheet material industry. He analyzed the global economic situation and the domestic plastics industry, emphasizing functionalization, lightweighting, precision, ecological friendliness, and intelligence as the primary directions for industry development. He urged the industry to accelerate industrial structure adjustment and upgrading, develop new quality productive forces, and promote high-quality industry development. Regarding industry development and future work directions, Chairman Wang Zhanjie proposed five key aspects: aligning with national strategies and leveraging policies; practicing the “dual carbon” target strategy and leading green development in the industry; continuously promoting the “Three Products” initiative (increasing variety, improving quality, and creating brands) to lead high-quality industry development; adhering to upstream and downstream linkage development to promote industrial chain upgrades; and strengthening the Plate and Sheet Material Committee’s self-construction and improving its service capabilities.

Mr. Zhang Tao, Secretary of the Yiyuan County Party Committee; Mr. Pan Qinggong, Executive Chairman of the Shandong Plastics Association; and Mr. Zheng Feng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yiyuan County Party Committee, Deputy County Mayor, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Yiyuan Economic Development Zone, delivered speeches to the conference.

Ms. Liu Shu, Deputy Supervisor of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, announced the China Plastics Association’s approval of the composition of the fourth council of the Plate and Sheet Material Committee. The meeting reviewed and approved relevant matters such as the “Work Report of the Third Council of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee,” “Financial Report of the Third Council of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee,” “Working Regulations of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee (Revised Draft),” and “Election Method for the Fourth Council of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee.” The meeting elected the leadership team of the fourth council of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee, with Zhu Shanbao and 29 other comrades successfully elected as members of the new council.

At the meeting, several leaders, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives delivered special reports on topics such as China’s current economic situation under the global changes, the impact of international trade frictions on the industry and response strategies, the status and development direction of the upstream raw material industry, and new products, new technologies, new materials, and new processes related to the plastic plate and sheet material industry.

During the conference, the 11th meeting of the Third Council of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee was also held. Mr. Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association; Ms. Liu Shu, Deputy Supervisor; and directors, vice-chairmen, council members, and representatives of council member units of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association Plate and Sheet Material Committee, totaling 29 people, attended the meeting.
